There is no doubt that as an artist I have been privileged and blessed beyond my widest dreams. Each day that I rise I bow my head and thank God sincerely for the life I get to live. Imagine getting up every day and painting pictures! "That ain't work'n" as Mark Knopfler sang in that hit song.
It is now going on three years since I began this full time journey and I am now faced with a challenge. To do something that counts a a major contribution to this country I so love.
There are so many ways this could be done but I want to ask you, the readers of this blog to contribute YOUR suggestions as to what counts as a major Contribution to Canada.
Please use the blog comments field to place your suggestions. When all are in and counted I will pick one and donate a single reproduction of my Limited Edition Print "The Beacon". Mailed to you at no charge.
I sincerely desire your input on this. I look forward to your suggestions here.
Thank you in advance.

This sketch above became this finished painting below
The Pine Tree Painter.
How did I become known as the Pine Tree Painter? You could say I paint a lot of Pine Trees, that would be true. I paint a lot of other things too, but Pine Trees, Spruce Trees, Birch and others seem to be a continuous string in what i do. I just like the way they stand there like a custodian of the land. or a greeter to nature. So, I continue down the path with the Pine Tree Painter name on my head, It's ok.
