The first thirty five years of my artistic life was in watercolours, and I painted barns and rural scenes around farm life. It seems now in my oil painting world I've come full circle with a few recent sketches of old shacks I see from place to place. Collector apatite seems to be healthy for this subject matter, that just pleases me. I love painting the old structures.
